How it Works
Posting a job
From the CVjNet home page, select the Job Posting Menu menu item. This will get you to the Job Posting Menu. In order to post a job, you have to be registered as an employer. You can do this by selecting the Register item. This gets you to the Employer Registration page.
All of the fields here are important. We need to know who you are, and we need the name, phone number and Email
address of a contact person. We do call to verify postings, and the Email address is vital. The CVjNet system generates
confirmation messages, and these will be sent to that Email address. Also, think up an Unique Identifier and a
Password that you can remember. If you forget either one, you can look it up, but the answer is Emailed to the
address that you gave us.
Once you've registered, you can proceed to Job Posting page. This page is dynamically constructed, and can only be reached from the Employer Registration page, or the Employer Identification page. From the Job Posting menu, the Post a Job menu item gets you to the Employer Identification page.
Next, you get to the Job Posting page. CVjNet job postings are identified with a unique number. On the job listing page your prospective employee can respond to that number, and we'll forward the response to you. You can receive responses without identifying your company in the job posting. You may, if you wish, include your company name or other identifying material in the posting. However, CVjNet is designed to preserve anonymity for the employer.
On the Job Posting page, select a job category from the list. If your category is not there, select "other". We review the "other" postings regularly, and create new categories as necessary.
Enter a short description of the job. This short description will be exactly what's listed on the Job Listing page. From the Job Listing page, a link will go to the Job Detail page.
What's displayed on the Job Detail page, is exactly what you enter in the detail section of the Job Posting page.
You can also enter an URL that you might want displayed on the job detail page. This has to be in the format "http://whatever.wherever.com". The URL is optional, to be used at you discretion.
All jobs posted to CVjNet automatically expire in 90 days. If you would like the listing to expire sooner, enter the expiration date here.
Click on Submit, and the job is posted. Simple as that!
Removing a job
From the Job Posting menu, select the Remove a Job item. You'll then be asked for your Unique Identifier and Password. When you get this right, all of the jobs you have posted will be displayed. Set the check mark next to the one's you want deleted.
When you click on Submit, you will have one more chance to confirm that you want the jobs deleted. You may correct your intentions, and Submit once more. When you do, the jobs you selected will be gone forever.
